KRONE'S HISTORY
Krone was founded in Spelle, Germany, in 1906 in a small blacksmith’s workshop where Bernhard & Anna Krone began to produce small agricultural machines with the intention of making farming more efficient and profitable.
In 1963, after the success of the Optimat manure spreader KRONE began to produce its ‘Alleslader’ the company’s first trailer that loaded and unloaded grass, hay, straw and silage unassisted and by 1994 Krone had ceased the production of tillage machinery and became forage solutions specialists.
Today Krone is still owned and operated by the Krone family, and visionary leader Bernard Krone has hands-on involvement in company operations. As a result, each and every machine bearing the KRONE name is engineered to meet the same time-tested, exacting standards that have earned Krone a worldwide reputation for quality.
