The levelling board flattens the ground between the tines and the roller and presses stones downwards. With the handy adjustment tool, the height of the levelling board can be adjusted with ease.
On all Amazone power harrows, the tines are simply pushed into sockets on the tine carriers. It couldn’t be easier or quicker, there is no tine fixing bolts that require re-tightening.
The parallel guidance of the roller and the levelling board allows very easy and independent setting of the working depth. By the simple repositioning of the eccentric pin, the working depth can be conveniently matched to the field and operational conditions.
The side plates are spring loaded. Thanks to their suspension, the side plates can be adjusted via a slotted hole and, when worn, be simply exchanged. The handy adjustment tool supplied as standard, is all that is necessary to make the adjustment.
The high standing 8mm thick gear casing, with double skin base and welded in bearing sleeves is extremely torsion resistant. This enables it to withstand the high forces that occur when transporting heavy packer rollers and pack-top mounted seed drills. Spur gears and bearings are oil-immersed and maintenance free, no grease nipples.
The most important task of a roller is reconsolidation. Due to the many possible challenges; seed type, soil conditions, lifting power of the tractor. A large variety of different rollers is available.
The KG power harrow offers all of the benefits of the KX, with a gear box allowing up to 220HP (Special) and 300HP (Super). Even in hard going, the rotary cultivator loosens the ground without a problem and simultaneously intensively mixes in the straw. The loose soil/straw mixture can pass through the machine without any problems owing to the large clearances between the tines and above the tool carrier.
