Grassland Management
Healthy, high-yield grassland is the basis for successful forage production. APV present innovative solutions for the efficient maintenance, reseeding and regeneration of grassland – perfectly tailored to the needs of modern farms.
With the proven Grassland Harrow (GS), the Grassland Pro Harrow (GP) and the versatile Grassland Combi (GK), APV offers a well-designed range of machines for every farm size and requirement. Whether breaking up matted turf, removing weeds and moss, or targeted reseeding with the first-class PS Pneumatic Seeders – APV grassland technology enables sustainable crop improvement and long-term yield security.
New for this season is the GK 300 S Grassland Combi combines slit and broadcast seeding in a single step, taking grassland reseeding and sowing to a new level. The seed is deposited precisely at different depths: slit seeding technology with 24 coulters ensures precise placement in the soil at a depth of 1 to 3 cm, while broadcast seeding provides full-area coverage on the surface. This results in faster growth with lower seed requirements. The system is highly flexible offering the option to mount one or two Pneumatic Seeders with different hopper sizes.
Seeding
APV is a global market leader for cover crop seeders with a diverse range of products all designed for precise, efficient and practical seeding from the entry level ES single-disc spreader through to the PS pneumatic seeders.
Cover crops are crucial for soil fertility, erosion control and nutrient management. APV seeding technology enables cover crops to be applied precisely and evenly, either separately or in combination with soil cultivation. This supports rapid plant establishment and improves soil structure preparing the land for subsequent crops.
NEW in the pneumatic seeder range is the PS 500 fertiliser twin and the SMART TWIN.
PS 500: allows two different types or seed or fertiliser, or seed and fertiliser to be spread at the same time. This is made possible by the divided hopper, available in either 70:30 or 50:50 split, and the divided seeding shaft.
SMART TWIN: available in sizes from 120L to 500L can apply seed at different rates or stop application on one side, in conjunction with ISOBUS, thanks to the divided seed shaft. This is based on application maps.

Crop Cultivation
Mechanical weed control offers numerous advantages, especially with increasing resistance issues and regulations around the use of plant protection products. APV offers a comprehensive range of products for mechanical cultivation focussed on practicality, productivity and precision.
- AS Tined Weeder ensures uniform aeration of the soil surface and effective weed control.
- VS Tined Weeder Pro impresses with its innovative tine-spring system that guarantees constant pressure distribution across the entire working width – even under changing ground conditions.
- RC Rotary Crusher works with rotating hoeing elements that break up soil crusts, interrupt capillary action and thus improve water storage.
- RW Rotary Weeder enables particularly gentle crop cultivation and, thanks to its rotating harrow rings, ensures optimum nutrient activation.
Spreading
Target fertiliser application is a key factor in sustainable crop production. APV provides solutions for the precise application of nutrients and active ingredients directly where they are needed, ensuring both costs and the environment are protected.
The sealed and corrosion-resistant design of the PS 120-1600 Pneumatic seeder-fertiliser model makes them ideal for spreading granulated or fine-grained fertilisers as well as plant protection products. The PS 1600 D is the latest addition to the APV range, designed for high-performance farms and inter-farm applications, the PS 1600 D has a large tank capacity of 1,600 litres and precise metering technology for even greater accuracy. It can either be used either in combination with the MT2 Implement Carrier or mounted directly onto existing equipment, such as large seed drills.
Multi-Metering systems for chemicals (MDC) and liquid fertiliser systems are also available
