Many Amazone owners appreciate the quality of the work done by  Amazone power harrow/drill combinations and the durability of the machines.

Due to repeated requests from existing customers in spring cereal growing areas Amazone Air Drills can now be got with the option of sowing fertiliser down the spout with the seed.

The new AMAZONE GRAIN/FERT ONE PASS features the iconic KG  3m power harrow with a 2.000l capacity air drill (which can be split 60:40 when putting fertiliser down). Unlike other machines, the Amazone do NOT sow fertiliser in the tramlines which will save on fertiliser costs.

Each of the 24 RoTec Pro disc coulters can be set at up to 55kg pressure hydraulically, as can the heavy duty swallow tail following harrow. Controls are top-of-the-range AMATRON 3 with all-electric metering for absolute accuracy. “We are getting huge interest in this machine. It costs €9,000 more than the grain-only drill and needs 200hp + to drive comfortably” according to Sales Support Manager, Val McAuley of Farmhand
