What do current BigX owners say?
Our BigX 630 has been a fantastic machine for us. Thanks to the six feed rollers and the spring loaded drum floor, the intake is hard to beat. Transport width is under 3m even on 800 tyres. We have some very tight fields to work in down here but the manoeuvrability of the machine is great. The pick-up lifts high so we can get into any field. The longer chop is a big hit with our customers. I’d have no reservations recommending the Krone to anybody.

The BigX530 is a joy to operate with everything at your fingertips. The manoeuvrability of her is good with a brilliant steering lock. We have had good dealer backup from Jim with a van in the yard when anything has gone wrong. I really can’t fault anything about the machine. My only regret is not buying a Krone years ago.

The BigX can handle lumpy swaths with the best of them. The power is good and no bother to take grass. Our customers love the longer chop length. The running costs are fairly good too. I’d have no problem recommending the Krone to a friend. We’ve looked at other brands but we always come back to the Krone.

The cab is a really nice place to spend a long day in with a high up driving position and everything well laid out. The steering is next to perfect. We can go up one 30ft row and straight into the next one. Whenever we have needed anything, Farmhand and our dealer have looked after us quickly. I’d have no hesitation in recommending the BigX to anybody. In my opinion, there’s not a harvester out there that can touch her.

I’d rate the BigX 770 highly as It is comfortable and easy to operate. Now that I am used to the controls, I wouldn’t like to go back to anything else, it’s the way to go. Krone Varistream spring loaded drum floor results in smooth crop flow even in heavy, lumpy swaths and the chop quality is excellent. The rear axle suspension is a great feature and makes it more comfortable than anything I’ve tried. The back up from Kevin McGee has been excellent. I’d have no problem recommending the Krone to anybody.
