Farmhand have been distributing Amazone agricultural machinery for almost 60 years and have recently been appointed sole distributors for the Amazone groundcare range. This will be headed up by Farmhand man Adrian Leech who has many years of experience in ground care equipment.
Farmhand are planning to develop a new groundcare dealer network in Ireland and Northern Ireland for both sales and service in the coming months.

Amazone Profihopper
Amazone offers a high-performance professional machine with the Profihopper 1250 & 1500 self-propelled mowers. The Profi is a versatile machine with a unique mechanical auger collection system. This means it is capable of cutting and collecting heavy, wet wild flower, grass, rushes, leaves etc. without blocking in the most challenging conditions. The SmartCut flail rotor with a chevron blade arrangement and a rear roller provides a striped finish that can only be compared to a cylinder mower. A user can go from cutting a wildflower meadow to cutting golf course fairways in a matter of seconds by simply adjusting the cutting height.

The Groundkeeper comes in a variety of different models to suit all operations and tractors. Choose from mounted, semi-trailed or trailed machines in working widths from 1.35m to 2.10m and hopper capacity’s from 1,350l to 3,500l. The groundkeeper ensures high performance with outstanding cutting and collecting quality all year round for mowing, scarifying, mulching and leaf collection. The Groundkeeper also offers high-lift discharge up to 2.3m for easy disposal of collected grass. The ideal all round machine for pollinators and wildflower management, large open spaces, sports pitches and public parks.
Amazone HorseHopper- the perfect solution for stud farms
A universal machine with a working width of 1.35m to 2.10m which can also be attached to a small tractor and does everything in a single pass: mowing, aerating, cutting and collection. The HorseHopper is equipped with wing blades and scarifying blades for the collection of wet grass mixed with horse droppings. The scarifying blades loosen the horse droppings from the turf. During mowing, the wing blades convey the horse droppings to the hopper together with the grass. The HorseHopper neatly mows down heavy grass patches and weeds for well-maintained paddocks to keep horses happy and healthy.
