Around 7,000 farmers, contractors and sales partners from 43 countries around the world attended the in-house exhibition at AMAZONE’s headquarters to discover the latest developments and innovations in agricultural machinery. This included a group of over 50 Irish farmers, contractors and dealers who travelled to Germany for the event. The Irish delegation travelled together from Dublin and formed a notable part of the international audience. The group got the opportunity to see first-hand the latest developments in agricultural machinery and technology, while also engaging directly with AMAZONE specialists and industry partners.

Using the theme ‘Ideas for our future’, AMAZONE presented a highly varied programme featuring product presentations, specialist information and plenty of opportunities for face-to-face discussions. The impressive ring demonstrations, featuring the latest products from Agritechnica and current innovations from all the areas of expertise within AMAZONE’s agricultural and ground care machinery divisions and proved to be a huge crowd puller. These included the ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread fertiliser spreader with automatic adjustment, along with the Pantera 4504 self-propelled sprayer, which comes equipped with a new generation of high-comfort operator cab. AMAZONE also provided more information about its recent partnership with CultiWise. The aim of this partnership is to simplify digital tools for smart farming while improving precision through satellite data and drone-based mapping, enabling more accurate and cost-effective applications.

A key feature of the event was the ‘Walk of Innovation’, which guided visitors through a host of key future topics in agriculture. Technological and digital solutions were presented that enable more efficiency and even more input-efficient management. Technical advisers from AMAZONE and numerous partner companies held in-depth discussions with the farmers, contractors and sales partners.

Another item on the agenda was the auction of lightly used second-hand AMAZONE machinery. The auction’s close integration into the exhibition programme highlighted AMATECHNICA’s comprehensive approach, combining technology, knowledge sharing, and practical investment opportunities all in the one event. The auction was a huge success and raised around € 1 million.

The additional elements of the event were also very well received. Factory tours, a wide-ranging machinery exhibition, and a vintage tractor display featuring around 120 classic machines provided further insight into the continued evolution of agricultural machinery. In addition, many visitors made use of the shuttle service to visit the spare parts centre and used machinery centre in Tecklenburg-Leeden, as well as the Wambergen experimental farm, where pioneering agricultural concepts are being trialled. This is also home to AMAZONE’s own museum, which houses a large collection of exhibits from across various periods in the company’s history.
